Super Foods, Miracle Bacon and the Horrors of Sugar

Adding new and different foods to your meals is usually beneficial. However, there are some foods that need to be taken out as soon as possible.

If you’re looking to boost brainpower, change your diet before you go Sudoku crazy. According to Forbes, foods such as curry, crab, walnuts, chickpeas, blueberries, red meat and more are great to give your noggin that extra kick.

Bacon is a dish that so many hate to love. However, when enjoyed in moderation, there is nothing wrong with a little strip or two. When you do decide to indulge, look at the study that Wired and The Food Network recently did on whether recipes are better with or without bacon. Unsurprisingly, all categories except for pasta and desserts were improved by a lil’ bit of bacon.

If you have a sweet tooth, just take a quick look at this infographic and you’ll feel any sugar cravings run away. The infographic, created by Online Nursing Programs, shows that the average American consumes enough sugar in a lifetime to fill an industrialized dumpster. That sounds like a lot of calories and cavities that could be avoided.
