Ordering Food Online for You and for Charity

By Erin Valentine

Online shopping isn’t just for clothes any more! Ordering food online is becoming more and more popular. Technology is infiltrating even our weekly interactions with food. Featured in a New York Times article, Good Eggs is what is basically an online farmer’s market where users can get fresh food. They are able to see where and when their food is picked.

For those with  more charitable goal, AmpleHarvest.org Campaign allows for users to log on and sign up to donate their unused or unwanted food to local food banks in their community. AmpleHarvest.org Campaign’s goal is “No Food Left Behind”.
